Amsterdam Case Competition 2026

The Amsterdam Case Competition (ACC) is a unique opportunity for sixteen teams from top business schools worldwide to compete with each other by presenting their solutions for real-life business cases.

The Amsterdam Case Competition

The ACC consists of a unique competition format, which allows for maximum immersion of participants into the cases provided.
The teams will be challenged in assessing the real-life issues organizations are facing today, analyzing available information, crafting solutions, and defending their recommendations in front of a jury of high-level business leaders and high-end academic professors. The competition week provides a rigorous platform that tests students’ case analysis capabilities, challenges students to think creatively, and empowers them to present with confidence in front of esteemed industry professionals on an international stage.

The annual Amsterdam Case Competition will be held from March 12th, 2026 to March 17th, 2025.

8 hour case
During the 8h case, teams will randomly be allocated to one of 3 pools of 4 teams. Every team will get the chance to present their solution to a panel of judges, who will judge the presentation based on specific criteria and judgment. Then, the top team from each pool will have the opportunity to present their solution once again in the final presentation. These will be the top 3 teams of the competition, and a final winner will be picked. The 8h case will count as its own
competition and therefore have one winner.

24 hour case
In the 24h case, participants are expected to conduct most of the research on their own and create a high-quality professional presentation. This is one of the most challenging competitions to exist and it is designed to push teams to their limits and force them to think outside of the box. The 24h case will be judged in the same manner as the 4h case, and the competition format will look the same as well. This means that there will again be 3 pools and that each team will get to present their solution, and the top team from each pool will get to compete one final time to see who is the best of the best.
